I think the board's intention is clear.  Look at the facts: first they
limited the number of people who would register by limiting knowledge of the
registration to a few tech news sites.  No attempt was made to publicize it
in the mainstream press or explain it's importance to the populous at large.
Next, they rejected numerous people who DID attempt to register.  Then they
chose to only elect five @Large board members, allowing four members who
were supposed to stand down after the election to retain their chairs.  Then
they suspended further @Large elections indefinitely.  Finally, they have
chosen not to fund further elections.  The spotlight is glaring already.
How much more light do we need?!
