You ought not to shoot so low. ;-)

The Internet community ought not to simply "contribute"; it should control
ICANN.  Full control, nothing less - period.

ICANN, as expressed in its Articles of Incorporation, "shall operate for
the benefit of the Internet community as a whole".

One would think that the beneficiaries of ICANN's actions ought to control
how ICANN runs.

Those who assert that there are others who know more about what is best
for the Internet Community than the Internet Community itself are simply
engaging in paternalistic rationalizations to hide their own
self-interested stake.
