No, sorry if this was not clear. I don't think that ICANN will have to
submit every single decision to the whole membership - it would be crazy.
But I think that through electronic instruments you can build a
representation chain from the individual to the Board member that is much
shorter and stronger than the one you would build going through the usual
Citizen->Party->Parliament->Government->International Orgs path. I even
agree with Esther when she suggests that "e-parties" should form - simply I
don't think that the current parties and governments have the right type of
attitude to govern the Internet in a fair, effective and accountable way.
