Agreed. Nine board members is the minimum representation we should settle
for!

Subject: [ALSC-Forum] Stakeholder regulation by representation of ICANN
All stakeholders and interested parties,
It strikes our members, stakeholders all, that stakeholder regulation
through unfettered and open membership in the hopefully consummated
ICANN @large is the best representative manner for regulating and
providing for policy decisions through stakeholders direct and active
participation in developing and determining any and all policies, and
regulation process for ICANN. The members of the @large should
have the opportunity to approve by their vote on any policies that
would effect or has any potential to effect their use or participation
on the internet as well as a body by which the @large directors
would be elected.
The ICANN BoD inclusive or the full 9 @large directors or at least
half of the total members of the board would be the vehicle by which
policies are implemented and provide oversight of those stakeholder
@large members determined policies and processes.
Regards,
