[ALSC-Forum] Monday outreach meeting

To whom it may concern,

I have some questions in respect of the Outreach meeting, scheduled for
August 13, 2001.

1. Issues discussed here and opinions submitted here - do I (we) need to
resubmit them to have them officially added to the Outreach meeting?

2. Are there any means of online participation?

3. If there are no means of online participation - how will the
non-participators get feedback? The feedback on the forum discussions so
far is, in my opinion, very discouraging. Esther Dyson is doing a good job,
but she is also very good at waivers and never representing the study
committee in any substansial part of the discussions. Will the study
committee ever join in the discussions or is this forum just for kicks and
good measure? Should we bother at all?
