Makes perfect sense to me, except for the "Secret" part. That
term, "Secret" has implications that are misleading perhaps.
None the less, I frequently initiate new communications
with people I have never met, never participated in any public
forum with, not have ever heard of before in business transactions
of various sorts. Why should this not make sense? It is done
every day!

I am not sure what Esther meant by "aliased e-mail list" either.
None the less some amount of privacy should and must be
afforded participants, despite Kent Crispins contention on this
thread earlier, which I also responded to. This does NOT
mean that their names should not be known, just that any
personal information such as Date of birth, Address, Phone Number,
and other personal information is not necessary.

Oh please Thomas! Get a grip on reality!
