If you wanted a public forum, you would have had one already - this entire
system has been suppressed (by not being made public through normal means)
since its inception.  It appears that this Forum's intention is clear - to
maintain some "elitist" format.

I have been watching this Forum for the past 2 days.  It is appalling to me
that ICANN is made up of ANY "partisan" board on the part of industry.  It
should always have been an impartial governing group - the word
"stakeholders" is offensive as there should be no "stake" in this essential
body.

Remember that NO ONE owns the Internet - that is its essence and it should
remain that way.

Esther,

You are quite correct in wanting to hear from a number of voices.  I have a
reasonable solution... ask ICANN to create a public discussion forum at
http://forum.icann.org/

The public is quite aware of that venue, and much less aware of the location
of your current forum.   Location, location, location... that's what you
need
if you seek a good flow of traffic.
