This message served no point unless it was also echoed to those attempting
to post a message.

However, a more sensible approach: wouldn't posting in this forum be
evidence of interest? If so, why not register them on the fly? Or is the
intent to make this forum as hard as possible to join?

Please note that in order for messages to be posted to the forum list
they must come from an email address that is subscribed to the forum
list. In particular, clicking on the "Post a message" link at the top
of each message won't succeed unless you have previously subscribed.

There have been several recent cases of messages sent to the list that
were from an email address that is not subscribed to the list -- these
messages have been rejected. If you have posted messages like this,
please go to

    <http://atlargestudy.org/cgi/forum_mj.cgi>

and subscribe to the list, and then re-send your message.
