Sticking with the present ALM arrangement is probably the best solution.

The 6-6-6 proposal is going to be a problem. It changes the terms of 
Newco/ICANN privatization agreement of 1998.  I recommend that the ALSC 
drop this proposal.

As for various definitions of the ALM, every approach will have its 
strengths and weaknesses.  The present ALM arrangement worked in 4 of 5 
regions.  That may be as good as any plan gets.

I applaud the ALSC for working to fine-tune the current arrangement.  Let's 
stick work together to make today's arrangements work even better.
