I agree.  Many of us in this forum have been advocating for an ICANN based
on
global democratic principles.  By misusing your words to further their goals
at the expense of your intended result was dishonist at best.

I'm sure they did (I did!).  I think that was the intent.  At the very
least,
you should demand that the ALSC report be withdrawn and the offending quotes
excised.  A public appology in your national press would also be
appropriate.
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it, though!
