Thanks again Hans :)

Sorry for the surprise ... I guess I should have given you fair warning.
The selfish reality is that I'm going to be travelling today and I want to
try to keep some momentum going and realistically I have no cycles to spare
(hence -- delegate).
Furthermore, if I remember my first days on email lists ... posting to
public forum can be really unnerving. Hence the more important point was to
find a mechanism for those that don't wish to publicly post (ideally they
would ) to also express their interest in a more private manner (e.g. I've
had some private mail of 'how can I help' -- but I have no cycles to reply)
As far as skepticism... sure... will any of this work or stand the remotest
chance of success... who knows?
Yet I know that the At Large is littered with many circular arguments and
catch-22's -- so if there is to be forward motion it makes sense to me that
a little slack has to come from somewhere to move along.
Skepticism is fine, and the skeptics will no doubt point to all the
imperfections and if it fails then there will no doubt be an prompt 'I told
you so'.
Right now, I guess, what is required is a little passion... a little
action... to match all the words that have been expressed on this forum over
the last year.
So please, for the moment, look past whatever imperfections that may exist
and contribute your time for this one task of keeping track of who is
pledging what (i.e.pledges -- NO money changes hands). My blind faith wire
to Joop was purely to get things going for now (break the cycle etc.)

Sure... you are absolutely correct. As well as their agreements with the TLD
registries/registrars, the RIRs (or lack thereof) etc. etc.

One step at a time Hans.
