As has been pointed out many times I have no constituency and my claims to
speak for the dot commoner
are only out of philosophy and not representativeness.

OTOH I do speak for them in many regards. And now I speak for them in
appreciation.

The tireless and hard work of so good a group, the abuse received and insults
hurdled and yet the relentless caring and contribution by so few on behalf of
so many is cause for great hope.

We thank you all, and you know who you are. My housewives in Antioch thank
you, My aged Father and growing children thank you, My shoeshine boys and city
dump dwellers thank you, My Tibetan victims of violence thank you. In short,
hopes and dreams are all many of us have and we thank you for providing that.
The hope that our Internet will survive and the dream that we will one day be a
part of it.

Sincerely,
Eric
