Michael and all stakeholders or interested parties,

The subject line of this thread is "Supplant ICANN"
which is a direct reference to a rebid motion on the DNSO GA Forum...

A few people are under the illusion or misconception that when a
rebid is done for contracts such as the MoU and White Paper that
a specific detailed structure is part of such a bid. This is simply
put, not the case. Nor should it be either for many obvious and
not so obvious reasons which I went into in brief on my previous
response to Danny's post to me on this thread...

Sure, it would be nice to know definitely what is being offered
in great detail on such a rebid or supplant of ICANN or the
ICANN contracts (Mou and White Paper). But with the
diversity of known and identified interests, jurisdictional
complexities, and many other potential structural aspects
such is not possible or more importantly advisable...

What I am capable of, though, is surrounding myself with the smartest, most energetic, and motivated people that will help me determine the best possible set of answers to some common problems. I think that ICANNatlarge will be that, eventually. I am optimistic, that, if enough people provide intellectual inertia and logic to this morass that ICANN has created so effectively we can build something that will make them just another political anomaly to leave out of the history books.
