Reminder: All interested individuals are welcome and encouraged to participate in the outreach meeting to discuss our draft report on how ICANN should involve At-Large members. Limited audio access will be available for those interested in participating in the 10:00 - 12:00 session (details below) and an audio recording will be available on the Internet after the meeting. The September 7 ALSC outreach meeting will focus on our draft recommendations on the concept, structure and processes relating to an "At-Large" membership. The draft report was posted on our website on August 27 for public discussion and comment. As indicated in the report, there are numerous issues on which further discussion and elaboration is needed. Based on the input we receive and further work, the ALSC is committed to presenting final recommendations to the ICANN Board prior to the third annual ICANN meeting on November 14, 2001.

Audio access to the first session of the September 7 outreach meeting (10:00 - 12:00) is available. To access the meeting, dial +1-712-257-3320 (Note: this is a toll call; you are responsible for long-distance charges.). Ask for the ICANN At-Large Conference (Conference leader - Denise Michel; Passcode -- "At-Large"). (Note: audio access begins at 06:00 am Pacific Time and lasts approximately two hours). Phone participants will be given periodic opportunities to offer comments and questions.
